If you’ve been in marketing for a while, then you’ve
no doubt seen the “crazes” come and go. It seems like
one minute everyone is interested in one thing and the
next minute everyone hops trains to concentrate on
something else.

This can be really harmful as far as focus goes —
if you never settle on any one thing, it’s a lot
more difficult to find success.

On the other hand, one of the really cool things
about having a web-based business is that there
are so many cool opportunities opening up.

It’s helpful to separate these things into two
camps — the first camp is filled with “shiny new
objects”. These are distractions — no-no’s, until
you’ve found success with what you’re already

The other camp is filled with things you SHOULD
be paying attention to. For instance, new
promotional strategies. In the previous
email, I talked about why I will not rely on
Google (or any single entity) for my business,
ever again.

How, exactly, does an Internet marketer go
Google-less, though?

You’ve got to build your own following.

You’ve got to allow your brand, your content,
your “whatever” become known, shared, and

One of the best ways to do that is by using
social media.

One of the absolute TOP ways to dive right into
building great relationships and generate
website traffic (and sales) is by using Pinterest.

I’m going to start some fairly thorough Pinterest
testing coming up, and I think you should do the same.

I’m recommending a Pinterest book focused on Kindle,
for starters, because its storyboarding method is
simply phenomenal.

This is perfect for those who are interested in
promoting Kindle books…but you’ll very easily
be able to translate the strategies to anything you
do online.

It’s all connected.

Seriously, pick this up (and grab my bonus as well –
you get my notes to get you started quick).

Don’t let Google rule your life…Pinterest is
simply the greatest way to “go viral” out there.
Combine this with your other strategies (no matter
whether you’re an offliner, writer, affiliate marketer,
product creator…whatever…)
